So the athletic department is trotting out its annual "we just beat U.S.C." t-shirt. (See below.) First of all, the shirt claims that U.S.C. should be used to this, but it brings up an obvious question. Shouldn't we be used to this by now? Shouldn't we stop making t-shirts about wins over SC? But I suppose they should be able to have their fun. So here's the real reason why I could never buy this shirt. It really bothers me when the losing score is listed ahead of the winning score. Don't they understand this convention? They couldn't have flipped the helmets around? No one looked at the design and realized this?
