37-31 Buffs at the half. KZ has 0 points, and Da Silva has 13.

I still think we can make a run for fourth place if Cormac Ryan can get healthy and contribute like he did earlier in the season.

Davis is still a turnover machine - I really would like to see Wills run the point and have Davis take more of a scoring role. Sharma is less of a foul magnet but still commits too many stupid fouls given how little depth there is behind him. Okapala is the only true standout vs. last year. da Silva had a great game last night but it hasn't happened often enough he still seems either poorly utilized or a mismatch for Haase's system and this roster.

Agreed, and it's Haase's fault there hasn't been a real PG in the last two recruiting classes.

As a matter of interest can you list the point guards falling within the top 100 who were academically qualified to get into Stanford and who had any interest at all in coming and Haase recruited?

I ask because Florida, Arizona, and Oklahoma are relatively rare schools for us to cross-recruit against, so I'm just curious how we know all those guys had the application chops to get through admissions? Like, does anyone think a one and done Trae Young would have come to Stanford even if Haase were the second coming of Monty? I just don't see it, so these possibilities seem very hypothetical absent some concrete data.(01-28-2019, 07:28 AM)GK3 Wrote:(01-28-2019, 06:16 AM)winflop Wrote: Agreed, and it's Haase's fault there hasn't been a real PG in the last two recruiting classes.

@winflop: Isaac White is a real PG. He's just not very good. So maybe that defeats the point of this rebuttal.
@GK3: Ignoring Isaac White...
2017: Alex Barcello (Arizona), Trae Young (Oklahoma and now the NBA), Saben Lee (Vanderbilt)
2018: Andrew Nembhard (Florida)
