From memory (no google help).
Rick Barry- 4th in MVP. One of the biggest jokes ever. But players voted then. He was, to say the least, unpopular.
Keith Wilkes (he wasn't Jamaal yet)
Derrick Dickey
Johan. Aka Cliff Ray
Phil Smith
Butch Beard
Charles Johnson
Bill Bridges (late pick up)
Newpie. Aka George Johson
Grasshopper aka Charles Dudley
Jeff Mullins
Frank Kendrick
And the best radio sports play by play announcer in history behind the microphone- the incredible Bill King.
How did I do???
One of the most underrated Champions in sports history. They had traded Nate Thurmond to Chicago before the season for Clifford Ray and were picked to finish last in their division. They also instituted a new ticket program – six bucks any seat in the arena. Half price if you were a student or 16 and under. I sat many times on the floor for three bucks. Went to about 35 games that year. Including game seven of the Western Conference finals where I ended up at a urinal next to Franklin Mueli just before the fourth quarter. And game three against the bullets at the cow Palace.
The Bullets were supposed to slaughter the Warriors. Of course the Warriors swept. If they were in New York team they would’ve written 25 books about them. As it was their championship did not even merit the cover of Sports Illustrated. Rick Barry had one of the greatest years any NBA player has ever had. He essentially invented the point forward position that year. And among his other achievements lead the league in steals – it was the first year it was ever a statistic. Barry was a jerk. Which is why he’s one of the most underrated players in NBA history. He was an incredible scorer and passer and had a pretty good team defensive player – although not particularly strong one on one. A slasher when he broke in, he turned himself into a great outside shooter. His 35.7 points a game in 1966 was at the time second only to Wilt in points per game for a full season. Baylor averaged more one year but didn’t play enough games to qualify. He’s also the only player to lead the NCAA, NBA and ABA in scoring.

Giants playing regular season games, but nothing about the Warriors, who by far are on the greatest run a Bay Area team not named De La Salle Football has ever had, and two wins from their fourth NBA Finals appearance in a row.
Is there reason to believe there aren't W's fans on this board?
Well I live in New Orleans, so I follow the Pelicans :).
That said, I do admire the Warriors, except for mixed feelings about the occasional antics of Draymond Green.
And while there are plenty of other sites to follow NBA teams, there is no better place on the Web for Stanford sports than right here on The CardBoard.
In any event,
Geaux Cardinal!
I'm a of immense proportions Warriors fan, ever since the early 1970s. Can still recite the 1974-75 full roster. They flew commercial in those days, and we went to pick up my stepmother flying in from Phoenix. The whole team disembarked, including Rick Barry in a knee-length, pimped-out rabbit coat. Just awesome. My favorite player on that team Was Phil Smith, really liked Keith Wilkes.
