10 points for Uw in the last minute of the game. And they dont even onside kick. I dont understand how Wittingham, ostensibly one of the great coaches in the Pac-12, not only doesnt score with 58 seconds on the clock, he doesnt even get a first down... and he uses up only 29 seconds (and thats running it twice!)

Whittingham also called a time out when UW had the ball with about 30 seconds. I'm pretty certain UW was content to go into overtime. Instead, they drive down the field and kick the gamewinner.

Would love to hear more details about that timeout call. I was more than half asleep by that time. It seemed the ESPN announcers didn't have much of a problem with it, although I could be remembering the end of the 1st half.

Whitingham may be gone after this year - although I dont know his contract status. His Nov record is abysmal. They blew chances to win the South in 14 through 16. Last year being the most egregious.

Didnt he change both coordinators after last year? I know he brought in a new OC. When you change coordinators and get worse that is not dangerous from a job security standpoint b

He may or may not be overrated but his job security at Utah is very strong, if he leaves any time soon it will be by choice and for a better situation.

He may or may not be overrated but his job security at Utah is very strong, if he leaves any time soon it will be by choice and for a better situation.
