It is worth noting that Hinch's Astros are 73-60 and leading the AL West (it's still weird to say that) in his first year managing the franchise.  They have already won more games this year than they did all of last year (70-92), and Hinch is getting serious consideration for manager of the year (indeed, a majority of ESPN "experts" think he will win it).
