Who was that Masked Man running the ball like OJ Simpson near the end? Wow!

It's every C'al fan's worst nightmare. Every day they fight the perception that the only reason they went to Ca'l is because they didn't get into Stanford and/or they don't regret going to Ca'l. Now a guy who should be the flag bearer for the cause, a team captain of the football team, a guy who had a Stanford offer out of high school, lays b'ear to the world the ugly truth. This really needs to be remembered for all time and brought up in every conversation with boasting bearbacker. And yet, it doesn't really register that big a deal for me, I think for precisely the fact that we all know this is the truth of all C'al students, so it's really not that exceptional. OF COURSE a guy who played for Ca'l would jump on the chance to spend a year at Stanford playing in Cardinal and White. Why wouldn't he?

Everything about Bryce Love sounds incredibly exciting, but I am curious. Is he a natural, gifted pass blocker? Or did he pick up pass blocking to Shaw's standards quickly enough to be considered for playing? Or is his explosive talent so tempting that we are overlooking natural deficiencies that one would expect for an incoming true freshman?

Giving an interview like Shaw does is one reason I want him to stay for a very long time. Makes me proud. http://m.footballfightmusic.com/download..._Right_Now

Shaw says the freshmen are the "biggest surprise" of the training camp in the above presser.

Between Shaw's soft-spoken nature and the ambient noise, I had a hard time picking up parts of the interview. It is great to hear that the freshmen are a big surprise (I presume positive :D). But as hard a time as Barry J. had getting touches due to his deficient blocking skills, I just was wondering whether Love's skills are significantly better than most incoming freshman. He's clearly more talented than most.
