But... on the other hand, it makes sense that most would predict a 4* DL is headed to Alabama or Auburn, just like most predicted Foster Sarell to UW (until the last couple days before Sarell's commitment).

Hey, those are my frames!  I've worn them as my main glasses for over 25 years.  Supposedly the best selling eyeglass frame of all time.  Nerd Nation isn't just for college commitments, it's for everyday.

For me, nothing will top Solomon's announcement. First, there was the intrigue about whether or not he'd choose Stanford. That made it exciting enough. And then the Tree and the glasses? Just awesome. So think about this. He started with that introduction and ended with the Sun-Bowl-saving sack. What Stanford athlete has had better bookends to his or her career?
