When nobody can fail and everyone is a winner, you're going to get significant grade inflation. Teachers can get pilloried by parents for giving anything less than a C, even if a student absolutely earns an F.Â

The statement in the article that Speights is one of only 2 RBs with the grades to attend Stanford is interesting. I would have to assume that Bisharat is the other because he's already committed, but this info on Stephens' grades at least seems to put him in the ballpark:
