Since 247 includes predictions from the start of the player's recruitment, it's important to pay attention to the trend, which has swung back to Stanford. Most people I've read seem to think it's between Stanford and USC. The fact that he wore a USC visor to a recent event isn't a very good sign. Still, all the experts had Solomon Thomas going to Arkansas based on tea leaves, when he had already made a silent commitment to Stanford. Let's hope that's the case here.

After having lived here for three months, I'll disagree respectfully.  If you've grown up in the snow, that's one thing.  I grew up in NorCal, the weather in Michigan winters is heinous.  Take the temperature and subtract 15 degrees for wind chill.  Yech.

"What do you think about Harbaugh and the tradition of quarterbacks at UM?" etc. 

I suppose we will find out how all this works out soon.

I think you're right SCSF1.  A lot of the Michigan feel could very well derive from the writer's presentation.  There was quite a bit more discussion of issues related to Michigan, and they were front-loaded in the article relative to the brief acknowledgement that Stanford is also in the picture.
