Not really sure any of this matters. At this point it's clear- win out and play in the Rose Bowl. If we lose to UCLA next week, or the week after, I suppose it's possible we could get at at-large spot. We'd probably be right on the cusp of the top 14.

If UCLA beats Stanford at any point, then Oregon and UCLA will be in the running for BCS invites.  Crazy stuff could happen, but at this point Stanford is all in on the Pac-12 championship route.

It is a little silly that Stanford is only #11.  A road loss to the #1 team in the country.  A road loss to a top 25 team.  And wins over two teams that were ranked #1 at some point during this season.

I guess the good news is that the rankings imply the team has to do a lot more to get national respect, so there is no need to celebrate deep into the week.

I have no idea how Clemson is ranked ahead of Stanford and A&M.  They played one ranked team all year and lost.  Their best wins are Duke and NC State.  By comparison, Duke is one of our worse wins.

It is not out of the question that Oregon will still be in the BCS CG.  It might be as easy as SC beating Notre Dame.

With Barkley I would have thought SC could beat ND without him I am not so.  Given that Oregon has a bunch to play for, I am sure UCLA will not want any part of that situation.

Agreed, I think Oregon is probably the most likely replacement if N.D. loses next week.  Nobody wants to see FL against 'Bama/GA and KSU got thumped by Baylor which won't be forgotten.

I just want to see 2 more wins and we can then we can forget about everyone except the Big 10 champ!
