ESPN\'s Reese Davis called it James Madison\'s best work since the Federalist Papers, and two familiar faces gave that team votes in their poll:

At least two voters in the Associated Press Top 25 poll were impressed by the Dukes. James Madison received 11 points in this week\'s AP poll, with Ray Rotto [sic] of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Jon Wilner of the San Jose (Calif.) Mercury News including the Dukes on their ballots.

Mark Schlabach makes an unintentional jab at Ratto here.

Isn\'t this an example of Ratto and Wilner proving to the rest of the world what we\'ve long known for certain: that they are complete idiots?!?

VT was obviously a grossly overrated team, and James Madison still had to get lucky to hold on for a fluky upset... and that gets them on those ballots?!?  We complain about how clueless most East Coast writers are when it comes to the Pac-10... how about this for evidence of the corollary?!?

What, no rankings for constitutional law? Surely Yale or Chicago cannot hold a torch to James Madison!

Yeah, going to the source takes all of two seconds, and requires the intellect of an upper division Heald student. shame!

two seconds is a long time in my field.  i was taking data measurements on the order of microseconds...and microwatts too.  low-power, high-speed stuff :)
