I know Hulk is counting the Terrence Alexander chicken before it is hatched (admitted and committed), so I'm wondering why Alexander has scheduled a trip to Notre Dame recently for the week after Stanford?  He's got one at Mississippi the following week too.

Is this N.D. official visit a hedge against not being admitted to Stanford, or is there reason to be concerned?

Probably a hedge. The issue is that Alexander hasn't made any visits and N.D. just started recruiting him. It's certainly possible new/unfamiliar could bowl him over.
