A real comedy of errors for both teams, but Nevada has on balance looked better. If they could be convinced to tackle someone without getting a penalty, they'd really be in business.

One of the great 59erings is almost over. Nevada kicked off, and kal decided to reenact The Play. This time around, they tipped the ball up for a Nevada player to rush into the endzone. However, given Nevada's uncanny instinct for self-sabotage, there was, in fact, a penalty.
So that leaves a drive with 22 seconds left for the 59ers, and after a catch, the 59ers fumble. Jeff T.edford's lifetime record versus Nevada is 0-2.
(Also, note: Nevada, on their final drive, attempted the Shaw--i.e. running down the clock, playing for the FG--but after a penalty, they decided "eff it" and went for the TD.)
With all the struggles BCS teams are having with teams from non-AQ conferences, Shaw must have his self-satisfaction moved from "I AM ANGRY (TECHNOCRATICALLY)" to "I AM VERY PEEVED (TECHNOCRATICALLY)."
