One way of thinking about football: games are lost on being able to convert 3rd downs, and being able to stop the other team from converting 3rd downs. Late 3rd quarter we are losing those decisively: 1-7 in converting our own 3rd downs, and we've only stopped SJSU 4 our of 11 times.Â

It just looks like a poor defensive game plan with our secondary just giving them so much room. Maybe we can't hang with them. If so, we should just let the new kids give it a shot.

Defense woke up in the 4th quarter. O-line seems pretty porous.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If our defense sucks, how do you describe our offense? Skov back in the lineup will help too.

Usua Amanam had some big plays tonight. Hope to see more from him throughout the season.

The defense will get better. Especially with Skov. But the offense was pretty bad. I'm still in shock.
