Two interesting things: If he plays both ways, which it certainly appears he is, Marecic will be working with the football equivalent of a pitch count. That raises the interesting possibility that late in the game, he\'s exhausted his number of plays and is out of the game.

The other interesting disclosure -- at least, it was new to me -- is that Alex Debniak is going to play some at running back. Has this been announced previously?

I never thought it would take a committee of 4-5 running backs to replace Toby...makes you really wonder what the coaches are thinking.

Kind of a pivotal year.   Had an injury that sidelined him.  Always intriguing speed.   Did we steal one from America when we saw greatness?   They gotta figure out where he can contribute and then let the guy stay in that position and learn it.  So far,  he\'s nothing but an intriguing prospect...with ever-decreasing eligibility time to show it.

Debniak played RB in both of the last two spring games. Based on what little I\'ve seen of him in those games, I wouldn\'t be surprised to see Debniak carry the ball in short yardage situations.
