Two interesting things: If he plays both ways, which it certainly appears he is, Marecic will be working with the football equivalent of a pitch count. That raises the interesting possibility that late in the game, he\'s exhausted his number of plays and is out of the game.
The other interesting disclosure -- at least, it was new to me -- is that Alex Debniak is going to play some at running back. Has this been announced previously?

I never thought it would take a committee of 4-5 running backs to replace Toby...makes you really wonder what the coaches are thinking.

Kind of a pivotal year. Â Had an injury that sidelined him. Â Always intriguing speed. Â Did we steal one from America when we saw greatness? Â They gotta figure out where he can contribute and then let the guy stay in that position and learn it. Â So far, Â he\'s nothing but an intriguing prospect...with ever-decreasing eligibility time to show it.

Debniak played RB in both of the last two spring games. Based on what little I\'ve seen of him in those games, I wouldn\'t be surprised to see Debniak carry the ball in short yardage situations.
