Willie Anderson is the only golfer to win three US Opens in a row, in 1903, 1904 and 1905 (he also won in 1901). He was a native Scot who emigrated to the USA at the age of 18. He won the Southern California Open in 1899. He served as club pro at ten clubs in 14 years (common for club pros at the time), dying at age 31 of epilepsy and alcoholism.

I think you got it backwards, I believe the question was which NHL team has the longest current playoff streak now that Toronto missed the playoffs this year. 

My answer - Colorado, the favorite for this year’s Stanley Cup.

By the way, I know that Detroit currently has the longest non-playoff streak. I recently read an article about Buffalo’s escape from that dreaded status and the Red Wings bump up to the top of that list.
