Plummer was pretty recent, so not too hard to remember.
I was swimming laps at DeGuerre when Coach Quick asked a few of us if we'd mind moving over and sharing lanes so a recruit who was visiting (Evans) could workout in a free lane. We were all floored when we saw who it was.
A lot of people never knew Heiden was a Tree but he used to show up to ride with the cycling team once in awhile back when I was working out with them too.

Wow, that's a tough one, since, with a few exceptions, I don't know where Oscar winners went to college.
Besides Stanford, I'm going to guess Michigan, Purdue, Alabama, Notre Dame and hope that at least one of them is correct.

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

UCLA is a good guess, but the only Bruin thespians I remember are Carol Burnett and Mark Harmon. I don't think either one has won an Oscar, though. Pretty sure that most of their work has been on TV. But like you said there must have been others.

Hmm - good guess. I was thinking Wisconsin because of Russell Wilson (as you may recall, Anna's brother - sure could use someone like her on the WBB team these days). But back to the matter at hand - Giants - do we have the right nominees? Envelope time? Bueller, Bueller??? This is a fun one.
