LOL - the only other guy I can think of from that far back was maybe Ollie Matson and only because he played at USF ~ then and IIRC also participated in T&F as an Olympian (52 or 56). I don't think he was very short though.

The two WS's don't quite look identical, though the family claimed to be descendants of the playwright...and of course, his football nickname was "The Merchant of Menace" or "The Bard of Staten Island."

A's vs. Angels, 2017. Runners on 2nd and 3rd. An A's pitcher (Graveman?) fielded a comebacker, but instead of going to first, he runs at the 3B runner who had broken for home. He tags him out, hops over him, then runs to tag out the runner from second base now sliding into third base, thereby completing an unassisted double play by the pitcher. And the Giants had a 3-1-4-2 DP, 1B (Davis) fielded the ball at the mound, tossed it to the pitcher, who threw it tothe second baseman at 1B (first out), who then threw the ball to Bailey to get the runner at home. Since they started recording DP sequences in 1961, there has never been another one of these.
