Clardy, Bosgana, Harriel really struggling. All our guards, especially Lepolo, have to ATTACK their pressure. They are allowing themselves to get doubled and then it's over. Their struggles combined with the high foul count does not bode well. C'mon ladies!

Both of Brink's fouls were actual fouls too. She needs to be smarter. You can't win top 5 road games if you're best player is sitting on the bench. She is senior. CAN'T HAPPEN!

Since our initial 12-2 lead, we've been outscored 26 to 8. Grim. It doesn't look good at this point. Our non-bigs look terrible. Still not a single point among them.

9 turnovers by Stanford.
I’ve never seen a team hit 30. Totally possible today.
Also over under for foul outs both teams combined today? 3.5?

Thanks for being objective. On that second foul Brink was not in position to block the ball. From where she was located the only thing she could do was smack the shooters arm. Not a good decision.

I couldn't agree with you more. It is incomprehensible why she hasn't been able to control her personal fouls. When she sits we have a much tougher time all around.

Bad execution the last possession. Jump takes an off balance shot with too much time remaining and Colorado hits a three at the buzzer from half court. Tara will not be happy about that. Never give the other team enough time to score at the end of quarters. If Brink can stay on the court, I think this game still comes down to the wire. We are right there.

Well, there is cause for negativity so far in this game, and we can always count on MV to provide it.
Yes, against a team of Colorado's caliber, at their house, we need Brink and Iriafen both to be in the game.
Colorado always does pass-denial defense. Their goal is to shut down assists and force our players to make individual efforts. Disrupt the smooth flow of the offense. That is why we need Brink out there.

Is there still a flopping call in college women's bball? Whitaker is one of the biggest players out there and is falling all over the court trying to draw charges on any contact on a screen. It's infuriating.
We're tied if not for a banked 3 and a buzzer beating distance 3, and that's with a million turnovers. Need to be much stronger with the ball and aware of where defenders are jumping at us. If Brink stays out of foul trouble (maybe a big if), I like our chances.

As usual, critical commentary on Stanford is characterized by you as "negativity." Apparently such thoughts are strengt verboten. Impressive. Nevertheless, thanks for your illuminating comments and previews.

Game is on the verge of getting away.
We collapse inside on the ball too much. Been going on at least the last few games. But giving up too many open 3s.

paloalto and MV may have been negative, but they were right. And Brink did the same thing on her 3rd foul as if to prove the point. I love watching her play, and her talent and achievements are obvious. And she has been the victim of questionable calls far too often. But not today.

Yes all 3 were fouls today for a change. Cam on tilt now.
Well that call is BS
Interesting they reviewed at break and counted that 3. So I rescind my BS call.

After watching Whitaker in the first half, I found myself thinking that that floor is going to need some repairs after the game.
Stanford currently with 17 turnovers

Well I admire the effort today. I figured this was toast at the end of Q3. It’s likely not going to be enough, but if Leopolo hits that open 3 earlier this is a real game.
