Well, Brink’s streak is courtesy of at least two lane violations that I can recall, but hey, those never officially happened. ;)

Is that necessarily true? Plenty of players miss "bunnies" with distressing regularity even as they are able to make free throws. Don't get me wrong, I do think that Brink was hacked a fair bit, and a lot of it went uncalled, but I don't think the disparity in her field goal shooting and free throw shooting is any sort of proof. I mean, imagine if Brink went up against herself, and "evil Brink" blocked her 6 times. That could easily contribute to a 5/13 night from the field, right?
