There were 2 All-Star games per year in 1959-62, so must be players from that era - Stan Musial & Mickey Mantle?

I believe that somewhere in the 226 page book of regulations that govern The Cardboard Trivia is a subsection that pertains to your query. However, my recollection is somewhat hazy. Anyway, I think it stated that reading about stuff prior to seeing a question posted is entirely acceptable. Go for it!

I cheated and looked it up, and am puzzled. One source shows 14 triple crown winners, the other shows 15. Hugh Duffy in 1894 being the additional one. Only two won it twice, too. . . .Am I missing a distinction? Pitching triple crown, too?
