I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, but UCLA guard Dominique Onu, who started earlier in this season and was a top 30 recruit coming out of high school a few years ago has transferred to USC.

Good grief, I was not even aware that mid-year transfers were possible.  Bad enough that they can pack up and leave after every single year, now even in the middle of a year? 

I see she won't play until fall, does that mean that this year won't count against her eligibility?  That players can test the waters for a half season, play in 6 games, and then go join another team?

I'm also finding it hard to understand how Gottlieb, who has never been more than a so-so coach, seems to have a certain draw.  Or does Close have a certain push?

UCLA is going to present some serious challenges in our matchups. Watching them play the Ducks in Eugene and they are impressive. Their guard play is very good (Osborne, Rice), and they've shown full court defense thats been impressive all game. Oregon has turned the ball over way more than their average.  They rebound like crazy and when hitting perimeter shots - look out. We are going to have our hands full.  

Oregon State is losing to USC. Oregon State looks like a bottom tier Pac12 team which is crazy to say given their past success. USC could be a bubble team.

Oregon is also depleted without a deep bench, but their offense just had no flow.  Oregon played alternating zone or man depending on whether they made a basket, and neither looked great. 

UCLA loses Charisma Osborne to a vicious collision, looks like a major whack to her shoulder or clavicle.  Hope it is not as serious as it looked.

Leger-Walker flew home to New Zealand due to a family issue.
