Bruno gave me a little bit of a scare with four straight balls and a walk, but he came back with a strikeout to end the threat in the top of the eighth. 5-2, good guys.

Bowser with a bases empty HR in the 6th to put Card up 3-2. Maybe he'll stick around year hoping to put up better numbers?

What a collapse here in the 9th. Bruno unable to throw any strikes. Texas doesn’t swing at a pitch for what the first 3 batters. Then an error in the outfield. Yikes yikes yikes. We have no business losing this game yet here we are. This is a pretty epic collapse and heartbreak if we don’t still pull it out.

We may not have blown many games this season but the sources for this blown lead - walks and errors - have been our bugaboos all year.
