Did Bo know basketball?

NM... I see now that Bob got it. Bo competed in baseball, football, and track, where he was a state champion decathlete, but alas, not basektball. Deion Sanders did play all three (plus track), but I'm guessing he wasn't all american in all three.
The closest Stanford had was Matt Lottich, who was an all-state athlete in football, basketball, and baseball.

Along those lines I don't think John Paye was all-state in baseball but he was drafted by the Giants in the amateur draft (35th round), and we know about his football/basketball accomplishments.

Thus he completed four seasons of college play before the NCAA tourney. Gene Brown ably filled in and guarded Iowa All American Carl Cain.
