I don't think this will have the effect that he thinks it will have, purely apart from the Orange One having anything to do with "saving" college football.  I think there's an awful lot of fence-sitting voters who aren't interested in college football and don't particularly like the role it has in our society.

Good point. Also, I imagine that a lot of people, including me, who are normally brobdingnagian college football fans, are fairly disinterested in a game in the midst of a pandemic, a recession/depression, protests for racial justice, and a potentially violent election season.

Good point. Also, I imagine that a lot of people, including me, who are normally brobdingnagian college football fans, are fairly disinterested in a game in the midst of a pandemic, a recession/depression, protests for racial justice, and a potentially violent election season.
