Excellent news. I’m curious to see what sort of impact she will have on the team. I find foreign players difficult to judge in terms how highly rated they are.
So, that’s three spots taken. In terms of open scholarships, we can add two more, right? We can dream of Fudd and Iraifen both coming to Stanford along with this fabulous class so far, right?

I think it's a good get, but do hope there is an outside shot in her skill set somewhere

Not sure if Bosgana has an outside shot, but in terms of the volume shooting, I would guess it’s a function of her not having any help. I think if she had help, her efficiency would hopefully increase.

at this point in her career, not an outside shooter, but otherwise quick, great court awareness on offense and defense which may allow her to play early. like haley jones, a player who can create her own shot - which we need.

Kiki Iriafen and Bosgana follow each other on Instagram and Kiki likes the commit. A good sign

Ally Stedman 2021 just committed to Pepperdine. Boston Card please cross her off

Don’t think Iriafen would comment on Bosgana’s post if she wasn’t likely coming to Stanford. Possibly a silent commit?

Normally you might dismiss it as just being happy for a friend, but since Bosgana is coming from Greece, it's unlikely that she and Iriafen would be especially close, unless they shared something... like an interest in Stanford.

Could be but the 2018 highlight video of Bosgana from the 2018 FIBA U16 tournament listed quick release catch and shoot 3 as a strength and she shot 32.3% from 3 from that tournament. Not Hannah Jump percentages but I am not sure I would call her a non-shooter at this point.

It seems like the only US players who congratulated Bosgana were Stanford players or Stanford committed recruits. And of course Ms. Iriafen. Here is hoping that Kiki has decided on Stanford but is taking her time or is waiting for a grade or test score to make it official.

Great news! Excited for Bosgana, and also that Iriafen's reaction bodes well for us. And to be honest, much easier for me to get excited for the 2021 kids because they will have a real chance at a season and a freshman year. Can we just take a 2020 mulligan and start totally anew in 2021? :(

This isn't recruiting per se, but good alumni news elsewhere as Erica McCall gets another shot at the W as she's picked up by the Atlanta Dream to play in the Wubble.

Stanford interest in 2021 Rayah Marshall is mentioned in the story linked below. I googled after seeing a Boneyard poster mention her as a Stanford possibility, and this story was the only more concrete thing linking her to Stanford that I found.
