I wouldn't be upset with 3 even. As long as one of them moves to DE/OLB early on, earlier than Eric Cotton did. A couple of our targets could play both ways.

The TE offer slate - if we can get 2 of our 5 offered - looks quite good. Our offers are #2, #4, #5, #8, and unrated Oscar Delp who will be rated after receiving FOURTEEN P5 offers in the past month including us, UGA, USC, FSU, Michigan, UNC, and more.
I'd be ecstatic to take 3 if one of them can play DE. A couple of these guys could play both ways.

We can entice him with having three very productive starting TEs in the NFL (Ertz, Hooper, and Schultz) while having a few more getting ample time (Toilolo and Smith), plus another one in the wings (Parkinson). Of course, Fleener is recently retired due to injuries.

This is really good news, right? Especially in light of how 2021 recruiting is likely to end? My sense is that 2022 needs to be a top-20 recruiting class--with the requisite big bodies--if Stanford has any dreams of keeping up with Oregon and maybe others in the Pac-12 North.
If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

The ‘21 season depends on as many who can come back actually come back. And the future depends on landing many of the offered ‘22 kids. Otherwise Shaw becomes Wlat.
