Really nice Hull to Carrington pass and finish on the fast break. However, if we have to play a lot of time with the Coffee/Jerome pairing in the front court we will lose a lot of games. Please come back soon Maya.

We are lucky to be down 31-32 at the half, after 10 turnovers and 38% shooting. We have stayed in it because Utah had 9 turnovers of its own. Alanna could have been called for her 3rd foul at least 3-4 more times, but survived with just 2. A little justice given that one of her first two was bogus.
To our benefit, Utah has two starters with 3 fouls each. Combine that with a very thin bench, and the second half does not seem quite so daunting.

This is what Stanford live feed is like... it is what goes to the video board.
Yeah, it's optimized for the home crowd in the stands. No real consideration for away fans watching the stream.

We have turned the ball over several times trying to force passes into Jerome or Coffee while they are well guarded in the post. Why??? The play make sense when you are passing to Smith, Dodson or Fingall who can all score from that position. Jerome and Coffee can't. We turn the ball over trying to get the ball to someone who can't even score from that position.

I thought the calls on Alanna were fair and yes could have been more.
It's the damn balls The attitude affects them so much. They need to be inflated more at colorado under inflated. LOL Yes I kid.

Our defense has given them too many open 3s.
On offense I think the amount of contact allowed has bothered us. Need to go strong enough to the hoop to either make the shot or get fouled. And hope refs don't randomly call it a charge.

Terrible calls. Throw a shoulder into a defender and it's s foul on the defender. At least if the defender is wearing red.

One of the problems with being out with fouls is that the other players don't play well as a unit.

The end of the 3rd was a disaster as we went cold again. We trail 50-55 heading into the fourth.
We need a hot shooter.
Also a bit of defense to stop those coast to coast layups would be nice.

A couple of fouls on Utah called on us,. That hurts when we are playing poorily.
Need to get the Hulls inolved again, we haven't enough this half.
