BTW, wasn't the obvious answer to this question "in Palo Alto?"
So, where do we get our next win?

Quote:A season ticket holder in LA sent me his UW tix and said "I can't watch the game. I mean, I can, but I won't. Too frustrating." That is a very real and growing sentiment.
Nights like tonight are why I don't understand this sentiment. I bet your friend wishes he'd have made the treck. And I am sure you are glad that you went out there, despite the cold, and the traffic, and a first quarter where it looked like we were going to get blown out. I mean aren't nights like tonight why you become a fan in the first place?

I'm thinking our next win comes against a 5-7 opponent in the St Petersburg Bowl.Â
Don't see us beating UW. ×ÉÉ is a stretch. Votre Dame will dance with our dates.

As far as those people who are getting all frustrated and upset with Stanford football because we played some bad games this year is concerned, you wonder a bit how they ever survived the Buddy and Wlat eras.

I agree. I'll rail against Shawgren, etc. but it will take a TON more than that for me to not want to go to a game. Even five years of Idiotface and He Who Must Not Be Named didn't chase me away. But I will admit that five years of Johnny Dawkins did!

I think his preseason predictions were perfect for the entire season, though he backed off his prediction that we would beat ND in this weeks column.
