Nikki Caldwell has left UCLA to become the head coach at LSU.

Bad news for the Pac-12, as the Bruins, with their lack of crowd and institutional support (not to mention budget woes), will have a hard time attracting a "name" coach.  They could strike it rich with an up-and-comer, but would then begin to look like a stepping-stone program (as people are speculating that LSU might be one for Caldwell to return to Tennessee when Summit leaves).
