So now that we are three games in, nobody can play the remainder of the year and still maintain four years eligibility after this season.
So who are the true frosh who have played?
The only one I know of for sure is Curtis Robinson. He could magically come up with an injury now and be redshirted this year, and still have four years to play. Anyone else?Â
As it relates to Robinson specifically, my assumption is he is a guy the coaching staff feels might leave three years removed from high school if good enough, and there is a good chance he might be. Sort of like Alex Carter situation. Given how much Robinson is playing on special teams, and the fact Stanford is rotating a ridiculous amount of guys at ILB, it seems we might see him getting some defensive snaps and into the OLB rotation soon in obvious passing situations.
From here on out, if any frosh plays, he loses his redshirt year.Â
