A thousand miles or so to the south, Dijonai Carrington scored 45 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in a single game to earn region 8 player-of-the-week honors from MaxPreps. It certainly does not seem that she is suffering any lasting effects from her injury.

And that weekend Nadia Fingall took in Florida's "Miss Basketball" to add to just about every other Florida honor that a high school player can win.
