WBB: What did Tara do after losing to Washington? - 81alum - 03-11-2016

Why, she went down the road to Tacoma, and watched Anna Wilson and team win the state title.

The Fast Break Club has an unusually great cornucopia of articles about end-of-the-season accolades for our incoming recruits.

Anna had 5 points and 6 assists.

Meanwhile, the next day, Anna was named honorable mention on the Naismith All-American squad.

A thousand miles or so to the south, Dijonai Carrington scored 45 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in a single game to earn region 8  player-of-the-week honors from MaxPreps.  It certainly does not seem that she is suffering any lasting effects from her injury.

And that weekend Nadia Fingall took in Florida's "Miss Basketball" to add to just about every other Florida honor that a high school player can win.

It is nice to have some good news about the future after last weekend's disappointment.

Thanks for the roundup! That's incredibly exciting to hear about three of our incoming players. I think Carrington especially has the potential to strengthen our offense next season. We really haven't had a player like her (who can score from everywhere) since probably Candice.
