I hate to break it to you, but their band is one of the few programs of theirs that the rest of the nation would rate ahead of Stanford's. I think 15, 0, maybe even 5 years ago Stanford's was fresh and irreverent. Now they've become sometimes amusing sometimes stale parody of themselves. Otherwise you wouldn't have 17 pages of consternation, infighting, and debate among one another over your own band.

If you've actually read the 17 pages, you'd find that most of it was healthy debating and most of it supported our band (and we are mature enough to be able to criticize our own where necessary), in addition to how little Iowa fans understood what we are about.
