Rex Hudler, Bullard High, Fresno. Class of '78. All American Wide Receiver who caught 22 passes against Bakersfield East in a playoff game. Signed a LOI to play for Notre Dame...Four months later was the 18th overall pick in the MLB Draft by the Yankees. Signed for $125,000, which at the time was one of biggest bonuses ever signed by NY. Currently the color commentator for the KC Royals. Also a tremendous soccer player. Hudler, along with Ryne Sandberg are probably the two fastest white guys I have ever played with/against.
