Losing to an unranked 6-4 team on a neutral court does not seem like much of a moral victory to me, nor does it suggest that we'll fare better than in the past in a much-improved Pac-12.

I wouldn't discount Walvy.  They have a decent team this year with a good coach and players that play hard.  They have a very good shot of making the tourney this year, IMO.
