The biggest problem for us East Coasters besides the late starts is if Stanford wins a heart-stopper (e.g. Oregon last year), your system gets so pumped full of adrenaline that you can't sleep. Of course, I'd rather not sleep than cry myself to sleep (e.g. Washington last year).
