Lefty - a couple thoughts...
You mentioned a generation of LSJU players graduating without having lost a Big Game (a string of seven in a row ending in 01). That was followed by a generation of UC players who graduated without having lost a Big Game when UC reeled off five in a row ending in 06. That is what I meant by things turning in a hurry. And yes, things will continue to go back and forth as long as both schools field teams.
As for the opinions expressed on the private board at BI. Yeah, I think they more accurately reflect the mood of majority of long time fans (but NOT necessarily the thoughts held by the Big Hitters). No doubt, those are the opinions to which you are referring.
