The selection show is Sunday, May 3 at 6 pm PDT on ESPNU.

The first round games are May 8 and second round games are May 10.

Boulder would be the shortest travel and only 1 hour time change. Next would be Ann Arbor or Northwestern in the central time zones. Lastly would be the eastern time zone and the worst trip would probably be to Florida.

I believe, but cannot confirm that the teams would travel 2 days before the game, so May 6. 

If Colorado wins the Big-12 and is seeded, then the first game for Stanford could be against Denver. After seeding, all teams are assigned to sites by geography to minimize travel to a site. Any school less than 400 miles from a site will be bussed.

I mean at this point, the writing is on the metaphorical wall, right? Either Florida or Colorado will win the Big 12, and either Navy or Army will win the Big 12. Even if Stony Brook gets food poisoning--for which I do not wish!--and loses to 8-10 Towson (38 RPI), Stanford is not jumping two more teams.

As I understand it, we'll find out Sunday night where Stanford is headed. Colorado would be the easiest in terms of transportation/time zone difference, but Boulder has an elevation of ca 5400 ft, and I don't know how much time Stanford's team would have to acclimate. I think all of the other reasonably possible sites are in the Eastern Time Zone (can't see us heading to Northwestern?).
