Basic details:
* Selection show livestreamed on ncaa.com on Monday, April 27 at 1:30 PT.
* 64 teams selected, of which 34 are at-large
* First-round matches are May 1 or 2
Stanford's most recent match was Friday, April 17, so the players will have two full weeks of rest/preparation before a first-round match.
I have no idea how the bracket is put together, but, should Stanford be selected, it would be nice to stay in the West. Teams west of the Rockies that are ranked in the top 16:
#11 Pepperdine
#12 University of Satan's Children
#15 Arizona State
Schools outside of the top 16, but ranked higher than Stanford, who would also like to play first-round matches west of the Rockies:
#19 UCLA
#22 Cal
#23 Washington
#26 Arizona
