Stanford scored 7 runs after 2 outs

Cardiac kids!  I've suffered deeply through each loss this year, and especially our pitching struggles, but through it all, this team is still a must-watch group, and I'm watching every game I can.  I don't know enough to understand if we could write off our mid-season slump to Houston's injury, and if we can be optimistic for better performance going forward if she's all healed up now.  But I'm cheering for our Card anyway, so I choose to believe that our pitching staff will step up for the remainder of the season.  Let's hope that comes to pass.
