I don't doubt you, but what are the precedents of this type of disruption for the renovation of an athletics facility? I don't recall these kinds of problems existing when Stanford renovated its football stadium 20 years ago. I think Maples Pavilion underwent a renovation around the same time and a bit before that a pretty major renovation at Sunken Diamond. Did Stanford have these kinds of permitting issues then?
