I don't know the status of The Jaquish & Kenninger endowment, but the AD is an endowed position. ADs cost a fraction of a superstar coach. This is more about "who" than "how much". I'd look to a top-level next-in-line assistant at a bigtime program killing it in football and/or basketball, but football.

Or...Jacketree Junior has more than half a year of business school under his belt and is already embedded within UVA's AD doing some sort of comprehensive financial project with a non-disclosure. I only know he loves it and his dream is to be an AD someday. Quick coaching trigger too. He was on Shaw and Haase even ahead of most of us, sans the Fiesta Bowl zealots.

Do we need to start a 'Jacketree Junior for Stanford AD' campaign here on the CardBoard ? :o)
