I just see the Stanford model as linked with the NFL -- the Harbaugh, Dennis Green, Walsh approach.

The broken Texas model is really biased towards "highest paid coach in college football" model.Â

In other words, why would Pep Hamilton and Mason even want to mess with that mess that is college football in the Confederate States of America?Â They are in the least insane of major college conferences and they have connections in the NFL.
