I had a position coach in Kansas City, Ted Cottrell, great guy and coach. One day he's reviewing the practice films with us linebackers (yes, you film or tape practices and drills in the NFL) and he says, "some of you guys are flat-dicking it out there". We're looking at each other, and he says, attempting to explain, "well, you all know what a flat dick is good for don't you?". Self evident answer is "nothing" if you haven't figured it out...
Anyway, when I saw this report, all I could think of was that Trojans like soft balls. It ain't much, but then, it ain't much of a story. They were trying to give their kickers an edge would be my guess.
