It was not as close as the score (an 18 point loss) indicated. Stanford got a meaningless touchdown within the last minute or so against the third team Oregon defense, and the Oregon offense pulled Bo Nix with about 10 min to go. It probably could have been 60-10 if Oregon hadn’t taken its foot off the gas.

Well it was nice of Oregon to not run up the score. Maybe some day Stanford will have a chance to return the favor.
