LMU was 11-18 last season.
Indeed. 3-12 in conference.

It's kind of crazy to me. He's obviously never going to sniff an NBA floor (as a player, at least), so he foregoes the Stanford degree for what, more playing time? Bizarre.
I'm not sure what the rules are these days but in the past you could start your academic career at Stanford, transfer and record credits elsewhere, then return and receive your degree, as long as you recorded a minimum of 90 units at Stanford itself. That's what Tim Carey did, transferring to Hawaii to get on the field but eventually getting his degree from Stanford. A freshman (non-athlete) dorm mate of mine did the same thing, transferred to a state school after freshman year after having his financial aid reduced but returned for a final year and graduated with a Stanford degree. A good friend of mine couldn't get on the field at Stanford as a walk-on, transferred to a 1-AA (now FCS) school and played for one year, then came back for senior year and graduated. Loved Stanford but had a real itch to actually play college football instead of being a tackling dummy, as he put it. If you're putting 20-40 hours into your sport per week without getting much playing time I understand the desire to play somewhere else, even if the rest of your Stanford experience is wonderful. So I don't assume that athlete transfers such as Taitz are necessarily punting on a Stanford degree, or that they are dissatisfied with the the school as a whole, in fact I assume that the decision is driven by athletics, and that after having accumulated several years of credit here they plan to return at some point and receive their diploma.
