To his credit, Draco Malfoy doesn't throw the backup center under the bus. But his utter deflation is really fun to watch.

Reporter: "What was the answer to [Stanford's cover 2 defense double-teaming the outside WRs]?"

MB: "We obviously, we obviously did not have an answer to that."

End of press conference, length: 2min 44sec.  That was a super short one.  Also, $C is going to find an answer to the Cover 2 (many exist in the NFL), and they're going to be scary when they do.  Well, that's if 9 and 2 can run precise underneath routes.  I guess they make most of their living running go routes and never having to deal with crossing routes over the middle--or maybe it's a calculated decision to take those receivers out of harm's way given how thin they are.  Our DBs got in some good ball separation hits over the middle.

$C's gonna need an honest run game to beat the Cover 2 as well.  Good luck with that.
