Randolph committed to Notre Dame today.

“After weeks of thinking, I have been in contact just recently,” Randolph told Irish Illustrated of his call to Booker. “I initiated it. He was very excited and even more excited when I told him about how I felt about Notre Dame.”

Randolph has two high school teammates either playing for or committed to ND.  I couldn't read the Scout or Rivals articles about his stated reasons to switch, can anyone post them here?  Is it still the distance?
